Trail head for Rutherford County Walking Trail

To help the community meet those physical activity goals, I have started RuCo Walking Club! Starting Sept. 9, 2024 we will meet from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. every Monday to walk together. We will start our walking journey at the Rutherford County Walking Trail behind the Extension office. As we move ahead, we will explore may other trails in our area.

All ages are welcome and all activity levels are encouraged to come join the walking club! My hope is that this will provide a sense of community and be a fun way to get active and socialize with each other. It is recommended that you wear comfortable athletic shoes and appropriate clothing as well as bring a water bottle. **Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning an exercise regimen**

Please complete this form to join the RuCo Walking Club. You may join in at any time if you can’t attend right away. We will meet at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Office on Callahan Koon Rd, Spindale, NC at 10 a.m. See ya then!
