N.C. Cooperative Extension agents in Western North Carolina will offer the annual Certified Turfgrass Professional Short Course. This year’s class will be offered as a Zoom class only; from 9 a.m.–noon on the last 3 Fridays of January and all 4 Fridays in February 2021. Although the class is designed to prepare folk in the turfgrass industry to take the NC Certified Turfgrass Profession exam, many folks take it for the credits offered or just for the information. As such individuals wishing to take the exam can make an appointment to take it with their Extension agent at a convenient time, instead of our offering the exam on a specific date. It is a day-long exam so keep that in mind when scheduling to take the exam.
