Are you a college student looking for a fun and educational internship opportunity this summer? Check out the NC State Extension Summer Internship Program. Applications open January 20, 2023. Students may choose from a number of North Carolina counties, including Rutherford County, for their internship experience.
This 10-week paid internship offers a first-hand view of Extension careers and provides opportunities to enhance job skills while being part of a team delivering solutions to address local needs. Extension professionals work in a variety of areas, including family and consumer sciences, agriculture, horticulture, natural resources, 4-H youth development, and community viability.
Applications are due February 17. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply. NC State students should apply via ePACK. Non-NC State students should email requested materials as indicated at NC State Extension Summer Internship Program.
