Rutherford County Extension and Community Association (ECA) is an affiliate of the North Carolina Extension and Community Association (NCECA) and serves as an outreach of NC State Extension and its Family and Consumer Sciences programs.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to strengthen families through education, leadership and community involvement. Educational programs are provided by NC State University and AT&T State University.
What we Do:
ECA members participate in activities that encourage learning, enhance leadership skills and inspire community involvement. Members participate in Tours, Workshops, Contests, Projects, and so much more!
How we serve our Community:
ECA reaches out to the community through local food programs, college scholarships, children's books for waiting rooms, pollinator projects and many other community projects
