Eating like those who live in the Mediterraneanregion has been shown to promote health anddecrease risk of many chronic diseases.The Mediterranean-style eating patternincorporates the basics of healthy eating thatare traditionally practiced in countries thatborder the Mediterranean Sea.Eating the Mediterranean way is not onlyhealthy, it is delicious and satisfying.Foods that you once thought of as too highin fat or unhealthy, including nuts, olive oil,olives, and whole grains, become aneveryday part of your diet.

Join us for our 6-week Med Instead of Meds series, where you'll learn simple, practical ways to eat the Mediterranean way to help reduce inflammation and lower your risk of chronic diseases.
This is a hands-on cooking class, so you'll be preparing recipes, learning new skills, and enjoying a meal or hearty appetizers together at each class.
Classes begin Monday, July 27, and meet every Monday at 5:00 p.m. for six weeks.
The cost is just $50 for the entire series.
