CLASS IS FULL- Colorful Salad With Roasted Winter Veggies Workshop

(Updated: March 18, 2024, 11:06 a.m.)
A salad with all sorts of vegetables.

Join me at N.C. State Cooperative Extension, Rutherford County Center to celebrate National Nutrition Month! Colorful fruits and vegetables can paint a beautiful picture of health because they contain phytonutrients, compounds that give plants their rich colors as well as their distinctive tastes and aromas. In addition, phytonutrients help prevent certain chronic diseases and can even reduce inflammation in the body!

This hands on class will teach you all about the importance of "eating the rainbow".  Together we will make delicious, colorful salads with roasted winter vegetables! In addition, you will learn how to avoid preservative, sugar filled, store bought salad dressings by learning quick, simple homemade versions PLUS a dressing to take home!

Come join us March. 25th from 11am-1pm as we learn and have lunch together! $10 per person.  Registration IS CLOSED. CLASS IS FULL.  Payment due the day of the class using cash or check only.  Contact Sheri Ledford or call 828-287-6020 if you have questions. *recipe contains sesame and optional tree nuts
