Back to the Basics: Food Safety for Small Farms

This workshop will cover 6 Food Safety Practices essential for maintaining fresh produce safety on farms of any scale. Leaders will walk through these practices with participants. Upon completing the class, participants will receive a cleaning tool kit. This workshop is free and open to all current and potential farmers of vegetables and fruits at any scale.

The workshop will take place on May 24th from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at the Rutherford Extension Center (193 Callahan-Koon Road, Spindale NC). This workshop is free and open to all current and potential growers of vegetables and fruits at any scale.
