Cooking School 2020

Update: March 25, 2020

Future cooking classes will be held virtually (for a few months at least).  I know for some this is a technological challenge, but I want to offer this alternative instead of canceling classes altogether. I will most likely use “Zoom” or “Facebook Live” as the platform for classes. The April class on “Outdoor Grilling” will still be on April 14 and I will be live at the Extension office at 10:00 a.m. to grill up a healthy meal. Keep April 14 on your calendar and plan to join me from your computer or other electronic device! The session will be recorded for those who want to watch it at a later time. You will receive more information soon with instructions and links for accessing the video. We will assess this program delivery method after April 14 and make a decision about the May class at that time.

I would love to hear from you about healthy recipes you are making while you are spending more time at home, cooking and knife skills that you are practicing, questions you may have, and your thoughts about online classes. You may reach me by phone 287-6020, through Facebook at rutherfordcountyFCS, or email tracy_davis@ncsu.edu. Also follow me on Instagram at “Cooking in Rutherford County” and check our Extension website for weekly updates.
