N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center is cooking up tons of fun educational programs this year that highlight local foods. Is your child interested in learning to prepare delicious meals for your family? Do they always want to help in the kitchen? If so, then you may want to check out the first class in our local foods cooking series, Instant Pot Cooking. On January 30, 2020, from 4 until 6:30 p.m., youth ages 10 to 18 will learn how to prepare amazing dinners in a quarter of the time. Cooking under pressure is not just for adults. Sign your kids up for a fun-filled evening of cooking. We also invite you and the rest of your family to stop by at 6 p.m. and bring the whole family to enjoy dinner prepared by your new family chef! Family dinner along with amazing recipes, tips, and tricks are included in the class fee of $15.00.

Reserve your child’s seat today by first completing the class registration and payment at youthinstantpot.eventbrite.com. Then complete your child’s 2020 4-H online enrollment at 4HOnline. We a lso accept cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks are made payable to “NC State University.” Checks and cash payments can be received at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Currituck County office, 120 Community Way, Barco NC, 27917 prior to the class. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your child’s spot. We will gladly help you complete your online registration.
