Hyde County’s Extension and Community Association (ECA) has historically put together a county cookbook of amazingly delicious recipes! It has been some time since the last update, and we’re happy to announce a new edition is in the works, and we need your help! Do you have a recipe that is tried and true and you would LOVE for all your county neighbors to enjoy as well? We welcome all recipes and hope to increase the variety even more in this 4th Edition!

If you have a recipe you would like to submit for the Cookbook, please submit the following details:

  • Name of recipe
  • List of ingredients with proper measurements (preferably in order of use within recipe)
  • Detailed instructions
  • Yield/serving size, if known
  • Recipe owner/creator name

Cookbooks will be for sale once complete! If you wish to purchase a current cookbook, you may buy them at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Hyde County office or Mattie Arts Center, both in Swan Quarter.
